The requirements to become Domestic Oocyte Donor (for those both donor and recipient are in Taiwan, no matter you are Taiwanese or not. You are welcome to donate, even you are not Taiwanese.)

  2. A female must be > 20 years old, better under 30 years old, (Taiwan legislation restricts to be under 40 years old).
  3. Height > 155 cm, BMI between 18~24.
  4. Write an official HPA* Health Evaluation Sheet.
  5. Blood tests: Blood type, RH, AMH , HBsAg, anti-HCV, HIV, RPR, Thalassemia, AC/PC sugar.
    Vaginal culture: Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Pap smear.

  7. Submit to HPA* to rule out double donation.
  8. Match with Oocyte Recipient.
  9. Notarization in District Court for recipient couple’s consent.
  10. Apply for the kinship verification (table of consanguinity within 4th degree relatives) of recipient couple, verification of direct relatives by marriage, and direct blood relatives of recipient at Household Registration Office.( Recipient’s spousal relatives within 4th degree collateral blood relatives, direct relatives by marriage, and direct blood relatives are prohibited to donate by Artificial Reproduction Act -15.)
  11. Genetic carrier evaluation may be required by different recipient’s request.

  9. You must be a reliable person and committed to going through the process.
  10. Never convicted of a crime.

Oocyte Donation Q&A
初評及健康檢查，將資料送至國民健康署審核，大約1-2個月待國健署回函後進入配對。
在諮詢師通知後即可等月經第2-3天進入療程，至取卵完成約2～3週。
第2-3天進入療程後，之後大約1～3天回診一次。
若有使用藥物（包含中藥），請務必在進入療程前告知醫生。
請按時回診不可隨意中斷，不然會影響該週期濾泡情況。如療程中因私人原因取消、中斷療程，需自行補償之前回診掛號費、健檢費及已用針劑的費用。
自健康檢查開始，除個人因其他原因看診需自行負擔費用外，捐卵過程皆免費。但若健康檢查後確定可進入療程，卻自行取消則需補償健檢費用！
依國民健康署規定給予法定上限營養金 NT 99,000元。
1、捐卵者需要注射針劑藥物，有可能引發局部不適、過敏反應、卵巢過度刺激症候群（OHSS）、取卵手術與麻醉的風險等，但都可經由專業醫師審慎評估用藥來降低發生的機率。
2、什麼是「卵巢過度刺激症候群（OHSS）」？
這是與排卵針劑有關的併發症，嚴重的發生率約1％～5％。少數女孩可能會有腹脹、噁心、嘔吐、頭暈、心悸、小便量減少、體重增加等症狀。輕微者可以在幾天內自行痊癒或在門診簡單處理；只有極少數重症需要住院治療。建議在手術完成後補充適當水分與電解質以預防發生！
3、取卵手術有哪些風險？
(一)取卵目前基本上皆經由陰道，手術完成後只留下針孔傷口，因此不需縫合。
(二)捐卵需要全身麻醉，麻醉風險包括代謝性酸中毒、肺炎、換氣不足、支氣管經攣、低血壓、麻醉劑過敏、心律不整、心臟停止、二氧化碳栓塞、肺水腫等，麻醉導致死亡的發生率約為十萬分之一。
(三)手術風險包含出血、感染，少數病例（小於01％）發生胃腸道受損、泌尿系統受損、陰道或腹腔血腫、神經損傷及其他偶發的病變。
每個正常女性每月製造數百至數千卵子，但只會有一枚成熟卵子排出。捐出來的卵是當月一定會消耗掉的卵子，即使不捐贈也會自行萎縮，所以並不會影響庫存量，也不會讓更年期提～
人工生殖法規定若受贈媽媽已有活產寶寶，就不能再次捐贈。
依人工生殖法規定，我們會對捐贈者資料絕對保密，只提供健康狀況及身高、體重、血型...等客觀條件，以維護個人隱私；相同地，同時也對受贈者資料保密，不會提供給捐贈者，所以捐受贈雙方是互不相識的。
依據人工生殖法第13條規定，醫療機構實施人工生殖，不得應捐贈人要求，用於特定之受術夫妻。
依人工生殖法第19條規定，生殖細胞經捐贈後，捐贈人不得請求返還。但捐贈人捐贈後，經醫師診斷或證明有生育功能障礙者，得請求返還未經銷毀之生殖細胞。
機率非常低。國民健康署也因此提供「人工生殖子女親屬關係查詢辦法」，協助查詢以精卵捐贈方式施行人工生殖所生之子女的結婚對象，是否有親屬關係，但不會透露實際捐贈人資料。
